Spelt is an ancient grain, an 8,000-year-old relative of durum wheat that originated in present-day Iran. From the near-East, it spread rapidly throughout Europe, becoming especially popular in Germany. 

Our whole organic spelt berries may be used as you would wheat berries, in grain bowls and breakfast bowls. You may also mill them into a very versatile flour.

Great to Use In:

Grain Salads, Breakfast Bowls, Soups, Stews, Pilafs, or Home-milled into flour
