Ground Coffee - Farmers Blend

This is a blend of coffees from Nicaragua and Colombia. It's a Medium Roast with tasting notes of dark chocolate, and caramelized brown sugar.

Nicaragua - This coffee comes from a micro-farm that is just under 10 acres in total size. It’s a single farmer Gustavo Emilio Nuñez Ortez who started farming in 2009 and purchased the farm in 2012. Since taking over, his main focus has been ecoforesty and growing coffee in a way that promotes biodiversity.

Colombia - This is a coffee that comes from a co-op of almost 100 farms located in Tolima, Colombia. The co-op was founded in 2016 when a group of 19 farmers joined together to build their own processing mill. Since then, they’ve added almost 80 farms to the co-op and helped the farmers involved consistently get 18-20% above market rate for their coffee. The co-op also hosts workshops and training for the farmers to help them increase quality and yields of their farms.
