Organic KAMUT® Wheat Berries

This ancient grain is packed with flavor and nutrition and is very versatile -- great in baked goods, breakfast cereals, and pasta. KAMUT® kernels are twice the size of regular wheat kernels, and contain more protein, vitamins B1, B2, E and niacin; as well as lipids, amino acids, and selenium, a strong antioxidant.

KAMUT® is the registered trade name used to market ancient, hard Khorasan wheat that is grown organically to keep it pure and protected. Khorasan is an ancient relative of durum and is sometimes referred to as King Tut's Wheat, the Prophet's Wheat or Camel Tooth Wheat. 

Because KAMUT® does not grow well in humid Midwest summers, Janie's Mill purchases these USDA Certified Organic KAMUT® berries through their friends at Montana Flour & Grain, the sole U.S. agent for KAMUT® brand grain.
